Africa has its problems, the biggest in my eyes, is that of HIV and AIDS, and I knew it was my job in life to give back to the country to which I’m so attached.
Many of the ladies who help with my production are HIV+ (taking ARV’s) , and living positively as they are working to support their families, and are now more confident within themselves, They are no longer victims in the world of HIV. These ladies are not only my friends; they are all special talented women, of whom I can only say I’m proud. Not only do I have a feeling of pride, but also of my own personal fulfillment, as I am helping Africa, and its people. It’s my hope to grow the business and continue employing these wonderful people who are so creative and have such a need for the personal empowerment I provide for them.
